Marple-Newtown Concert Band
Date: Tuesday, May 14th; 6:30p – 7:30p
Description: The Marple Newtown Community Band is a non-profit, all-volunteer musical organization that rehearses (and sometimes performs) at Beth Israel of Media. The band also regularly performs at local senior communities, area events, parades, and minor-league baseball games.
West Chester Concert Band
Date: Thursday, July 11th; 6:30p – 7:30p
Description: The all-volunteer West Chester Concert Band, consisting of 65+ members, has been performing in and around the West Chester area since 1986, and is coming to EGT Park in 2024! The band under the direction of Joseph Gehring has earned a fine reputation for performing a varied repertoire which includes classics, show tunes, jazz, marches, and contemporary arrangements. Bring a blanket/chair, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray.
Fee: Both concerts are free and open to the general public!
